Valdy is an accomplished Information Technology professional with extensive background in Systems and Network Engineering, Design, Support, and Installation. He has proven ability to design and implement large-scale network and systems infrastructures in Healthcare, Government, Commercial and Manufacturing sectors. Valdy is particularly adept at determining systems/network requirements, project scheduling, and technology planning. He is Certified in Retail Management System, and MBSS, MCP, CNA, A+, NET+.

Valdy has over 20 years experience in the IT systems consulting and design, support and project management field. Including:

• Implementation and administration of Windows network servers and clients, printers, MS Exchange, UNIX and Novell servers, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Terminal Services, Citrix
• Applications: Installation and troubleshooting of all current software packages including, but not limited to: Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Corel WordPerfect Suites, Lotus 123; Norton Utilities, McAfee, and Trend Micro Virus Scan
• Responsibility for complete project life cycles, including requirements determination, technical planning, scheduling, design, implementation, testing, and post-implementation support

Configuration, setup and deployment of 75 tablet laptops in the SE LHIN for a direct service provider. Included creation of imaged software, testing and documentation, and Helpdesk Support for users and clients.

Linking a Community Health Centre e-health strategy to Local Health Integrated Network (LHIN) e-health goals. Included implementation of Exchange 2007 server and redundant server for Purkinje database. IT support of educational and training needs for health care providers (Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Health Professionals) on Purkinje System including moving to Electronic Health Record to Ministry standards
