Sara Kapler, M.A. C.Psych.Assoc.

Sara Kapler obtained her Master of Counselling Psychology from McGill University and obtained a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Alberta, with a minor specialization in Women's Studies. Sara is registered as a Psychological Associate with the Ontario College of Psychologists.

Sara's previous work experience includes working on the mental health unit at the Edmonton Institution for Women, providing individual counselling for young adults at the McGill University Counselling Centre, working with children, youth, and their families at Child and Adolescent Services Association of Alberta, and providing assessment, crisis intervention, and individual, family, and couples counseling with Wilson Banwell Human Solutions.

Sara's work experience has allowed her to meet with an extensive range of clients. She enjoys working with children, youth, adults, and families, and uses cognitive behavioural, solution focused, narrative, and supportive approaches. Sara works with issues such as stress management, parenting support, anxiety, depression, assertiveness, adults who have experienced sexual assault or abuse, crisis intervention and critical incident stress debriefings.
