Dr Lih-Yea Guo is a Registered Clinical and Rehabilitation Psychologist practicing in the province of Ontario. She obtained both her Ph.D. and M.A. in Psychology from York University, and she received her clinical training at Bloorview MacMillan Children's Centre and the Clarke Institute of Psychiatry in Toronto. She has experience working in mental health clinics of Toronto East General Hospital, as well as in various private practices in Ontario.

Dr. Guo provides services to adults from diverse cultural background. She has extensive experience in the area of psychological screening, assessment and intervention for adults, In particular, Dr Guo has worked extensively at the assessment and treatment of clients who have had motor vehicle accidents or work injuries. She provides assessments that are geared towards determining disability benefits and functional capacity, and various treatment based assessments which focus on identifying issues that are impacting a client's current level of functioning.

Dr Guo provides consultation to nurse case managers, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists when addressing clients with injuries or disabilities.

Dr Guo designs and implements sensitive and evidence-based programs focusing on behaviour management and skill training, while addressing issues of stress and anger. In addition, she uses mindfulness meditation to help individuals increase distress tolerance and facilitate healing.
