Q

Jennifer has worked clinically with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, addictions, loss, trauma, marital difficulties, separation and divorce, sexual abuse and domestic violence. She most recently expanded her approach to counselling by upgrading her skill set with modern and evidence based approaches to her general practice. Her more recent focus has explored modern approaches to addictions, compulsivity and connections between addiction and mental health.

Jennifer has worked extensively with children and youth both in the child welfare system, group/foster home setting, mental health and criminal system. She has assessed and recommended custody and access assessments for family court and mediated high conflict marital separations outside of the court system. She has extensive experience in the complexities involved in separation and divorce and has acted as a witness in many family court matters. Jennifer has also conducted home studies for couples and families interested in bringing a new child into their home for adoption purposes and/or other reasons.

Jennifer brings years of experience to her practice and is committed to helping individuals find ways forward in the midst of life challenges.
